What is Architecture?

Architecture is the practice of planning, designing, and constructing buildings that enrich lives aesthetically and spiritually. It also helps man-made structures fit in harmony with the environment while promoting health and well-being, providing economic opportunities, and creating a legacy that reflects and symbolizes culture and traditions.

How does it affect Society?

Through their aesthitic design, architecture characterizes cities and nations for decades and even centuries. It also stimulates and influences social life and promotes social development. Since buildings generate 35% of greenhouse gases, architects play a key role in sustaining the Earth's environment.
